Exile (Nathan Fraser Block), and Sadie (Joyanna L. Zacher), both of Olympia, were indicted and arrested Thursday Feb. 23 (2006) in charges related to a May 2001 arson fire at Jefferson Poplar Farm in Clatskanie, Oregon, where experimental genetically altered poplars are grown. Exile and Sadie accepted plea agreements that did not incriminate persons other than themselves. They are each currently serving sentences of 92 months in federal prison.
Please send Sadie and Exile letters of support! Remember NOT to discuss their cases or anything illegal when you write. Use ball-point pen or pencil. Do not attach stickers or glue anything to the letter. You can send photocopies or photographs (no polaroids!) Sadie and Exile are in need of donations to their commissary funds (to make purchases in prison of items like paper and stamps).
